Biography

Billy exudes calmness and charisma, with his natural demeanour conveying approachability to everyone around him. His sense of humour, analytical skills, ability to listen and commercial expertise mean he is an excellent interim manager for any client.

At home, Billy is a real family man and enjoys having fun with his friends and family. He also enjoys sport and travelling to far-flung destinations, ideally where it is nice and sunny.

Experience

Billy is a highly experienced Customer Service & Accounts Receivables Manager, with years of customer contacts and working to boost customer and employee satisfaction. As well as Dutch, English and French, he speaks quite a bit of Spanish.

His approachable personality and continual focus on customer and employee satisfaction make him easy for clients and teams to get on with. His experience in customer service, accounts receivable, and project and people management within sectors such as chemicals, FMCG, pharmaceuticals and biotech means he is widely deployable.

Billy has led several order-to-cash departments in various Benelux and European management roles, as well as initiating and implementing projects for multinationals such as General Electrics, Dun & Bradstreet, BIC S.A., Takeda Pharmaceuticals, EG Group and I&L Biosystems.

His motto is ‘Calmness, neatness and regularity’ because he sees these as essential if a department is to function optimally. For him, it is vital for employees to feel good and to be able to work calmly and obviously enjoy what they are doing. That way, they can achieve excellent results, both qualitatively and quantitatively.

He sees teamwork as essential for dealing with and subsequently avoiding any backlogs. There are no ‘lone wolves’ in Billy’s team; and if there are, he uses his people management skills to make sure that they, too, ultimately become part of the team.
