Jur graduated in Logistics Engineering from the NHTV (Breda University of Applied Sciences). He spent several years gaining experience at a logistics service provider, where his initial focus was on international road transport and then on sea, rail and air freight and related customs procedures. He became increasingly involved in data analyses and automation and is now working for UC Engineering as a Logistics Consultant.
Using quantitative data to optimise logistics processes has always interested him. During his work in the sea, rail and air freight sectors, he was responsible for all the operational processes, as well as for their data analysis and visualisation.
Jur is looking forward to the various logistics engineering projects on the horizon. He enjoys advising on and implementing improvement proposals and working with customers to add value by bringing projects to a successful conclusion.
